• 専門的・学術的観点からの成果: 本年度は、研究班全体でコクランプロトコールが7本、コクランの手法を用いたプロトコールが1本、コクラン系統的レビューが9本出版された。母子保健分野のレビューはその内、コクランプロトコールが7本、コクラン系統的レビューが7本出版が達成し、医療や政策上の重要課題に関して、最新の科学的根拠を質の高い手法でまとめ発信できた。
• 臨床的観点からの成果: 大田らは、母子保健分野に関する科学的根拠を定期的に国内外に情報発信する基盤整備のため、コクラン共同計画の啓蒙活動の実施、およびコクラン系統的レビュー出版を通した人材育成を行い、コクラン系統的レビューが出版が目標数を超えて達成し、医療や政策上の重要課題に関して、最新の科学的根拠を質の高い手法でまとめ発信し提供している。
• ガイドライン等の開発: ネットワークメタアナリシスの応用と批判的吟味ガイドライン（古川・京都大学）では、ネットワークメタアナリシスを臨床家が適切に利用できるためのガイドラインを作成し、提供している。田村（埼玉医科大学総合医療センター）らは国際蘇生法連絡委員会(International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation: ILCOR) ガイドライン策定におけるコクランレビュー活用を行い国際ガイドライン作成に貢献した。
• その他行政的観点からの成果: 本年度は、所管課と連携して、母子保健行政上重要課題と考えられる自閉症や発達障害の子どもとアレルギー等の関連について系統的レビューを実施し、政策に寄与した。
• その他のインパクト: 2014/5/30 厚労省にて記者会見を行い、日本支部の設立、コクランの活動について発表した他、NHKニュース、ジャパンタイムズ（WEB）、朝日新聞（2014年6月5日掲載）、助産雑誌（2014/1/25～2014/12/25 "コクランレビューに学ぶ シリーズ 全12回）等で31件の普及啓発活動を行った。定期的に国内外に発信しており、社会的インパクトは大きい。
